Its the Trombone plus more for your iPhone or iPod Touch. Play it anywhere. Waiting for the bus? Work a little slow? Friend to impress? Simply itching to learn? Whip out your iBone. Practice and learn scales and songs. Even play-a-long with music from your iPod library -- accompany the lead, or take the solo spot. Dont have a clue? Play-a-long with a tune from the iBone Songbook and let roboBone show you the way.

Its easy:
1. Touch or blow to make a sound.
2. Slide your finger to change pitch.
3. Raise and lower the bell to change volume.

With iBone, you can cover the Trombones standard two and a half octave range -- slur up and down, slide in and out, and easily play way out of tune. Its the closest youll get to the real thing.

No clue about the real thing? Pick a tune from the iBone Songbook, and let roboBone show you the way as you play along with the band accompaniment. Just tap the rings at the bottom of their fall to hit the right note at the right time.

iBone comes free with seven songs:
- 2001: Also Sprach Zarathustra with orchestra
- Aura Lee with piano
- Air (on a G string) with guitar
- Greensleeves with accordian
- Guantanmera with bass, bongos, guitar and drums
- Ride of the Valkyries with orchestra
- Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with piano

New in iBone 1.3, additional songs can be purchased and downloaded. Some of these include:
- Sloop John B with Rhythm
- Man of Constant Sorrow with Banjo
- Carol of the Bells with Brass
- First Noel with Ochestra
- O Silent Night with Strings
- O Little Town of Bethlehem with Organ
and more! With more to come.

Whether you play Trombone and need something more portable, or youve never touched one but want to learn, iBone.

Pros and cons of iBone - the Pocket Trombone app for iPhone and iPad

iBone - the Pocket Trombone app good for

I love this app. I am a trombone player, first off. Playing this iBone "makes sense." You have all 7 slide positions, and all partials up to high Bb. So playing it is like second nature. I did like in the video, fired up a song in iTunes, and had a blast playing along. This app actually helps me "see" patterns in the position/partials as I use different scales. Oh and it actually sounds great. I would like "in app" iTunes controls, and a volume slider to adjust the ibone volume to match my tunes. I recommend all trombone players get this. If youre not a trombonist, you may still enjoy this.
I cant play a trombone , but now I can play some of the basics , its fun ,entertaining + just great learning thx.
I play real trombone and baritone... Aka trombaritonieuphonium. Worth way mire than the price, This is the best app on my iPod, I would suggest making more instruments like trumpet or baritone :D
I am a trombone player and love this app. I only wish it had the low B flat register. More songs would be cool too. Make one for trumpet!
Im Trombone n00b and it is wicked fun especially the sng and reality mode :)
Im a trombone player and I love this app. Only one recommendation, have the ability to input notes and have the trombone play them. 

Some bad moments

It is not worth its price, because you get only 5 or 6 songs if you buy the app. Moreover the additional songs for it are rather expensive: 2 new songs for 1$! For the price of this app I would expect at least 20 songs, and for a dollar I would expect 5-6 songs at least...
ONLY fun if you can play a trombone. Great app for feeling like an imbecile by playing a tiny trombone and blowing on my phone
This app is terrible. It doesnt sound even close to the real thing. I play the trombone and this is just a discrace.
I dont know if it is because I have a Verizon iPhone or my firmware version but when I go into settings (the i) the app crashes.
This app wont make any noise! What is the point of a trombone app if it doesnt make sound!? I am very disappointed
